Stephen Henighan, a guy I've always kind of liked, has shot himself in the foot with his latest column decrying the Giller Prize and I suppose it's middle of the road flavour;
but then the last couple paragraphs got a little...nutty.
Some of the smart kids have already commented aplenty and this is likely going to have some legs, as the incestuous nature of the writing community Henighan decries is perhaps going to circle the wagons a bit.
Again, Henighan is an iconoclast and I like a good screed as well as anyone, but as Nathan said, the ground was covered here with a bit more class (toot, toot) and without the aid of any tinfoil hats.
