Andrew O'Hagan's Be Near Me is the best book I've read this year and I don't anticipate that changing.
I'm in the middle of Our Fathers, his Booker shortlisted novel from a few years back, and he's unreal.
Also on stage is Ander Monson, whose odd and elegiac little book I still need to finish.
