The Great Man-Kate Christensen

This is shaping up to be a beauty of a book.
I have all the time in the world for novels set in New York; no reason for it, I just do. But Kate Christensen is a hell of a find. She's got the the sensibility and characters of Francine Prose and the narrative chops of Jonathan Coe.
It's like a warm bath, I tell you, and first thing Monday morning, I'm bringing in the backlist.
I saw it first (as with everything else) here.
