consolation for Consolation (I'm very sorry)

It's been kind of a big day for Michael Redhill.

He didn't make the cut for the Booker shortlist, but he did get the City of Toronto Book Award.

Just as well, they have a fine track record.

Good on him, he should have been on the Giller list last year, and it's a damn fine novel.
