The Globe notes essentially that none of the surviving Booker nominees were names Rushdie.
Confess, that I've not read a word from anyone here, so I don't have much to say.
I'll likely get to Philip Hensher just because I've heard plenty of praise, but Sebastian Barry was on the shortlist with his last novel.
In fact, I'm a bit more excited about the Toronto Book Awards because Barbara Gowdy is the favourite and Glen Downie is a fine poet.
