But here's a list of seven dirty words you can't say in book reviewing.

In my role as personable pest, I've probably used all of these at one time or another.
But nobody in our nice, precise literature section wants to hear "this is fu***ng great, OK?!?"
It puts people off.
It should also be noted that you never come across this kind of nonsense in a good crime fiction review.
